At Asia Pacific Initiative (API), the &#8220;API Takano Fellowship&#8221; program was established to nurture the next generation of leaders in foreign and security policy by sending Japanese researchers to IISS-Asia. The program seeks to cultivate globally-minded Japanese think tank professionals capable of making an impact on the international stage.
